  • Fixing Mac and PC Desktops and Laptops for the Uconn campus. Working as the highest level tech support, mainly fixing and replacing bad hardware, Apple warranty repair, fixing elevated software issues, building custom computers, acting as network support, installing and configuring servers, organizing technology events/presentations, also working as a sales representative when necessary.

140 Person Bi-Yearly Nonprofit LAN Event Host (February 2001 – Present)

  • Maintain scythik.com website, configure and update network hardware (personally owned), configure servers for events, apply for sponsorship (20+ sponsors on average per event), advertise through the internet, flyers, and newspapers, designed logo and staff shirts, manage signups and payments.

ITS Consultant at Pfizer (December 2005 – April 2006)

  • Worked in small teams to migrate employees onto new computers, setup software and peripherals for scientific labs, fixed any software and networking issues.

ITS Senior Resnet/Helpdesk at Eastern Connecticut State University (August 2002 – December 2005)

  • Assembled computers, worked to troubleshoot a variety of software/hardware issues for staff and students, replaced network wall jacks, configured network for various computers, also performed onsite repairs/diagnosis.

  • Network wiring for school systems/businesses in the local area, fixed hardware and software problems.

  • Planned and installed the internal networking of a 3 story building, measured, purchased and installed wire molding, installed a router with switch for shared DSL line. Custom built multiple computers and a file server. Implemented file server with accounts and upgraded computers. Installed hardware and fixed software issues.

Computer Specialist for ITS Branch at University of Connecticut Library (Jan – Apr 2001)

  • Installed computers for classrooms, worked on ghosting images, fixed hardware/software problems for staff and public projects. Built computers, logged fixes and problems in computer database.

Freelance Work with Ferrigno Realtors (Off and on from June 1998 -May 2001)

  • Performed emergency virus removal from all computers on the network, removed the old network protocols and installed a more reliable setup. Returned on various occasions for technical support.

Internship at Greywolf Technologies (Jul- Aug 2000)

  • Involved in the internal network wiring of the WAIM building on Main Street in Willimantic. Involved in measuring rooms and ordering supplies for a wired network, laying wire, testing it and working with an electrician.
